BKC (benzalkonium chloride) is a cationic quaternary ammonium algaecide and biocide, supplied as 50% and 80% active grades. ZEELCHEM™ BKC kills green and blue-green algae within 4–8 hours of a shock dose and lifts dead slime off cooling tower fill. It does not corrode steel, copper or brass.
